Call for Presenters

April 3-5, 2024

The Washington State Indian Education Association (WSIEA) Board invites presenters to share their experience and knowledge with educators, students, and administrators at our 39th Annual WSIEA Conference being held April 3-5, 2024, at the Muckleshoot Casino

Presentations should be positive, motivating, and informative.  We wish to increase the conference participant’s knowledge, skills, and experience as it relates to Indian education, Native youth empowerment, community involvement, and Indian self-determination. We are going to try something a little different at our 2024 conference and sort workshop proposals into Early Education/Preschool, K-12, and Higher Education. Please indicate on the workshop proposal which strand(s) your workshop would fit into.

Our tentative plan at this time is to hold concurrent workshop sessions (90 minutes each) Wednesday (PM) and Thursday (AM and PM).  Please complete an outline of your presentation using the google form.  For additional information or clarification please contact  Rachael Barger, Bethel School District, 516 – 176th Street East, Spanaway, WA, 98387; or email to rbarger@bethelsd.org. Questions?  Call Rachael at 253/267-2675.
